TAMPA, Fla. (May 18, 2020) – Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa will reopen at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 21 under new and stringent “Safe and Sound” program guidelines. The guidelines include multiple new initiatives designed to create a Hard Rock entertainment experience in an environment that helps to keep guests and team members safe.

(December 11, 2015) – Three restaurants at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa will be offering guests holiday menu choices in the coming weeks. On Christmas Day, Rise Kitchen & Bakery will provide a menu of sweet potato soup ($4.50) as well as a main course of spiral honey glazed ham, mashed potatoes, old fashioned style green beans with ham hocks, honey glazed carrots, a. The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa in Florida and the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain in California partially reopened with a number of COVID-19 safety precautions.

Safe and Sound Program guidelines include:

Temperature checks for all guests and team members prior to entry. Any guest or team member with a temperature above CDC guidelines will not be allowed entry.
A requirement that all guests wear masks or cloth face coverings that meet CDC guidelines, without exception. Masks will be provided to guests, as needed.
Thousands of alternating slot machines will be turned off, to help ensure social distancing on the casino floor.
New Plexiglas barriers will divide players at table games, poker games and customer service areas.
850 signs will be posted throughout the complex to encourage social distancing and help ensure adherence to Safe and Sound Program guidelines.
More than 100 team members will be part of a new “Safe and Sound Clean Team” to focus on cleaning and disinfecting surfaces throughout the complex, with special emphasis on high-touch surfaces and common areas.
Hand-sanitizing stations will be available on the casino floor, at the entrances and throughout the resort.
Constant purification and disinfecting of the air flowing into the complex through the AtmosAir™ bipolar ionization system designed to destroy virus particles in the air and on surfaces.
An overall 50 percent reduction in guest capacity throughout the resort.

Restaurant venues including Hard Rock Cafe and Rise Kitchen & Deli will be open with social distancing requirements in place. At opening, 200 of the 800 Seminole Hard Rock guestrooms will be available. The Seminole Hard Rock Event Center will remain closed until further notice. No events will take place at the pool complex until further notice.

Seminole Hard Rock Tampa is the first of six Seminole Gaming casinos to reopen in Florida. Opening dates for Seminole Gaming’s other Florida casinos have not been confirmed.

On Christmas Day, Rise Kitchen & Bakery will provide a menu of sweet potato soup ($4.50) as well as a main course of spiral honey glazed ham, mashed potatoes, old fashioned style green beans with ham hocks, honey glazed carrots, a holiday yule log as well as chocolate sponge, chocolate coffee buttercream and vanilla sauce ($16.50).

Also on Christmas Day, Fresh Harvest (from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.) will offer a buffet that will be available for $45 per person. It will feature a carving station and traditional favorites (to include carved spiral ham with bourbon brown sugar glaze, carved to order herb roasted prime rib and freshly prepared gourmet pasta and pizzas) and a raw bar. There will also be Harvest’s Sweet Bounty, which will offer a dazzling array of hot and cold desserts.

Council Oak Steaks & Seafood will present special menus on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.

Among the items Council Oak Steaks & Seafood will offer on December 24 will be roasted beets carpaccio (first course), bone-in, 60-day, dry-aged New York Steak (main course) and a Sweet Christmas Pudding dessert consisting of pannettone, sweet cream custard and egg nog ice cream.

On Christmas Day, Council Oak Steaks & Seafood’s menu will include a potato croquets trio (first course), Jackman Farms braised short rib or striped bass (main course) and a “Glistening” dessert comprised of white chocolate semi freddo, brandied cherries and gingerbread.

Council Oak Steaks & Seafood will then help ring in the New Year with a special menu on December 31. Offerings will include cherry wood smoked tuna (first course), Sous Vide Wagyu Filet (main course) and a “Midnight Kiss” dessert created from chocolate Marsala mousse, mascarpone ice cream and a strawberry kiss.
