- Comfortable & cozy with a wonderful host! This is a great location to stay at if you enjoy wine tasting on the coastal range, going to the ocean or events at the casino. Vicki is a wonderful host, kind and thoughtful of guest's needs and serves a delicious, over the top breakfast. Each room has a private bath, ours had a private entry, and our bed was very comfortable. Lovely, eclectic decor and felt like home. Quieter than expected with lovely garden area. Had a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay! Wish we could have stayed longer.
- I found Hanson House because the casino hotel was sold out the night we went to a show. I did some research and discovered this charming little B&B was only a few miles from the casino and offered free shuttle service to and from Spirit Mountain. Upon arriving, Vicki was warm and gracious. The rooms (there are 4) are cozy and very inviting, each with a separate entrance and bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet; we never heard the other guests in the house until we joined them for breakfast the next morning. And speaking of breakfast - OMG!! A delicious hearty breakfast that had most of us going back for seconds, after a wonderful fruit tray selection and freshly made scones. We will definitely be coming back the next time we go to a show at the casino. And it was a nice welcome back after being in the smoke-filled casino, as this B&B is smoke free
- Feels like home ! From the moment I stepped into the Hanson House, was warmly greeted by Vickie, the proprietor .. I knew I had made the right decision to stay. I had been staying at the Spirit Mountain Lodge for a friends wedding, was advised by them to stay at Hanson House, I'm glad they let me in on their secret ! I highly recommend anyone staying in the Sheridan/Willamina area to check out this lovely B&B ... makes a great home base for wine tasting and hitting the coast !
- 5 Star - We have been several times and it's always the same,...great. Vicki, the owner is like family. The room set up is very friendly with private baths, and a private outside entry for late night returns. The Casino shuttle runs 24/7 for free. The fresh scones, homemade jam and breakfast scramble were outstanding. I would highly recommend this as a great place to stay.
- Top Notch Service and Exceptional Hospitality. We stayed at Hanson House overnight with a group and had the most amazing time. Vickie, the host is hospitable and her B and B is warm and welcoming. The breakfast she served included homemade scones, fresh fruit crepes and a delicious scramble. We will most certainly come back! I highly recommend you try this B and B as well. Minutes to the casino and about a 30 minute drive either direction to the beach or wine country
- Amazing beds and excellent breakfast!!! There are times I fear travelling as sleeping in a foreign bed with chronic back issues causes undue stress. Not so here! I even asked the very friendly proprietors what type of mattress they used as I could not believe I slept so well with no pain in the morning. Plus, waking up to a breakfast consisting of fresh fruit, homeade scones and crepes-WOW! All for a low price on a weekend for a King sized bed!!! I chose their location based on full occupancy at the nearby Spirit Mt Casino hotel. Now I am glad the casino was booked! This little gem is just a quick (FREE) 24 hour shuttle ride from Spirit Mountain Casino and far surpasses any rooms offered at the casino hotel. You have your own outside room key, so no worries about gambling until 2am. We have now visited Hanson House twice & it was perfect for visiting the nearby coast-we had an excellent room (and a real breakfast) without paying high hotel fees and worrying about hearing 'high energy' children running down the halls. I love to stay at small B&Bs when travelling, and this one takes the cake
